Creative Forces
Creative Forces is an art exhibition supported by LifeWithArt, showcasing works created by the Ukrainian displaced community over six months. The group got together every Friday between April and September 2023 to explore different ways of creative expression experimenting with various mediums. The show consisted of selected work from 5 art projects described below.

Exhibition Projects:
-
Re-establishing Creative Connection (April–May 2023)
Collage, recycled books, acrylic paint, ink, and creative writing. The group adapted to a new space and used visual exercises to express their emotions and challenges. -
What Am I Feeling? (May–June 2023)
Mixed media on MDF with found objects. Artists explored emotions through visual experiments, transforming them into new beginnings. -
The Charcoal Moves (June–July 2023)
Charcoal on paper, capturing movement. Inspired by Gabriel Schmitz, artists alternated between dancing and drawing to express energy. -
Printing Multiple Realities (July–August 2023)
Printmaking techniques including monoprints, dry point, and plant-based prints—introducing an unfamiliar medium to many participants. -
Colours and Their Characters (September 2023)
Exploring colour through different techniques: soft pastels, ink on paper, and fabric ink on silk, reimagining colours as personalities.
